Asara Wines

Asara Wine Estate & Hotel is a family-owned wine estate on Polkadraai Road in Stellenbosch, in the heart of South Africa’s Cape Winelands. The original farm dates back to 1691. The Rahmann family bought it in 2001 and renamed it Asara to mark a new chapter, with the aim of developing the property’s potential and sharing quality wine and food with people who appreciate them. The estate has 100 hectares under vine, about 70% red and 30% white. The vineyards lie between 120 and 200 metres above sea level on varied slopes and soils.
